Duration: 6 days / 5 nights (extendable with internship/mentorship add-on)
Program Fee: USD 1,350 per volunteer
Join Kipepeo Pathways for a hands-on Agroecology & Food Security experience where you work side-by-side with smallholder farmers to build resilient, sustainable food systems.
In this program you will:
- Design and establish agroecology demonstration plots using regenerative techniques (permaculture, composting, intercropping, natural pest management, and soil regeneration)
- Support crop diversification and climate-smart farming methods
- Participate in farmer training workshops on sustainable agriculture and market access
- Contribute to post-harvest handling and simple value-addition processes
- Learn about international sustainability standards (Fairtrade, Organic, Rainforest Alliance)
